Malaysian Dreamgirl is a reality show based on a model search competition that aims to discover new modeling talent in Malaysia. It is the first reality series in Malaysia to be broadcast entirely online.

Auditions will be held on 13 Dec 2008 in Penang, 14 Dec 2008 in Ipoh, 20 Dec 2008 in Johor Bahru and 10 Jan 2009 in Kuala Lumpur. You may choose to audition at any one of these locations.

No. You may simply walk in and register to audition at the locations above. You will however receive priority calling at the auditions if you register online.

Please bring your IC for verification and a RM10 registration fee.

You are welcome to audition so long as you are a Malaysian female between 18 to 28 years of age in 2009. You should also not be a previous Malaysian Dreamgirl finalist, a professional model, TV or movie artiste.

Yes. You are welcome to audition again so long as you are not one of the 12 finalists from Season 1.

No modelling experience is necessary.

You should dress comfortably in your own style to impress our judges.

No. You should come with your own makeup and hair done.

The judges will inform you immediately if you are successful.

You will be required to attend the closed auditions for 3 days and 2 nights in Feb 2009. The 12 finalists will be chosen here.

It will be held in an undisclosed location. Contestants will be required to meet in Kuala Lumpur before being transported to the location.

You will then be required to live with the other finalists for up to 10 weeks between February to May 2009 for the actual competition.

No. Finalists may only return home if eliminated from the competition. No exceptions will be made.

You will be allowed to call family and friends at certain times only.

The winner will be chosen by the Malaysian public via SMS voting.

Malaysian Dreamgirl can be watched exclusively online at www.malaysiandreamgirl.tv. Season 2 will be available from February 2009 onwards. Season 1 is still available for viewing now.

Each episode is split into a few parts for better video streaming. The number of parts may vary from one episode to another.
